Even before the start of the play-off match against FCSB Bucharest in the Europa League qualifiers on Thursday, LASK suffered a setback. Goalkeeper Tobias Lawal has injured himself. In the game itself, Robert Zulj was also injured and had to be substituted with a bleeding nose. 

Everything was actually going according to plan for Linz just a few minutes before the important play-off home game against Bucharest. Until the final warm-up phase! Goalkeeper Lawal was injured and immediately indicated that he would not be available for the game. 

Coach Thomas Darazs reacted quickly and sent substitute goalkeeper Jörg Siebenhandl to warm up. The veteran played just two cup games last season and was now thrown in at the deep end.

With his experience, however, he should be able to cope. In the 40th minute, the veteran showed impressively that he is a strong back-up with a strong save.

Meanwhile, there is still no background information on Lawal's injury and possible absence. In the game itself, Robert Zulj was also injured. After a foul by Joyskim Dawa, the attacking player's nose bled and he had to be substituted.
