Melles takes over the patronage of the film festival

The idea for the AlpenFilmFest in Bad Gastein, which will be held for the first time in 2023, came from a German cultural great. For Dieter Kosslick, former director of the Berlin International Film Festival, Bad Gastein is a cinematic place of longing.

This year, the film festival is entering its second edition. Actress Sunnyi Melles will be taking on a special role. She is this year's patron and will present the opening film "Rickerl - Musik is höchstens a Hobby" by Adrian Goiginger.

From September 12 to 15, the event series will present European films in Bad Gastein - including this time in the open air in the Merangarten.
