42 dogs sexually abused: Long prison sentence for Briton

Briton Adam Britton, once known as a crocodile expert, has been sentenced to ten years in prison in Australia for abusing and killing dogs. 

Before the verdict was announced on Thursday, the 53-year-old had confessed to sexually abusing and then killing 42 dogs.

Child pornographic material found
Judge Michael Grant described the acts as "appalling". The defendant was also found guilty of possessing child pornography.

Britton was arrested in Australia in 2022, where he had made a name for himself as a crocodile expert and had appeared on television several times.

According to the verdict, he is banned from keeping animals for the rest of his life.
