Investigation into Princess Mette-Marit’s son

The son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit (50), Marius Borg Høiby (27), is under investigation for assault and damage to property. This was announced by the Oslo police. He was arrested on Sunday and released on Monday.

Marius Borg Høiby is the eldest son of Mette-Marit, who brought him into her relationship with Norway's Crown Prince Haakon (51).

Police operation due to "act of violence"
The police were called to an apartment in Oslo following an alleged act of violence there on Sunday night. According to the police, there was a relationship between Borg Høiby and the victim.
