"Kevin De Bruyne is trying something new," Manchester City wrote on social media about a video showing the Belgian with a new hairstyle. The reactions are largely similar. The resemblance to his team-mate Erling Haaland is astonishing.

After all, everyone now knows that Haaland usually has his blonde mane tied back in a plait. De Bruyne is now doing the same. "A new Haaland", or "Assist from Haaland", the fans write under a club video showing De Bruyne taking a relaxed stroll across the parking lot of the City training ground. "Oooo, top knot," shouts one fan.

"Pep's new tactic: now the defenders no longer know whether KDB or Haaland is running at them," commented one user under the clip.
