A “pastor” as spoilsport

With a 3:3 in the international test gallop in Haus/E. against Al Ahli, the third from Saudi Arabia, the GAK warmed up on Tuesday for the first Bundesliga away game in Tyrol, where the first points will be at stake on Saturday. On the sidelines, the goalscorer is causing concern.

After taking a 3:1 lead, it looked like the Reds would win against Matthias Jaissle's team worth millions (123.63 mil transfer value), but the "preacher" struck eight minutes before the end to equalize: Liverpool's former millionaire star Roberto Firmino, who was elevated to the status of an evangelical pastor in his native Brazil in June, netted to make it 3:3.

"The opposition had a lot of quality," nodded GAK coach Gernot Messner, who was largely satisfied with the 3-3 draw: "We scored three goals, but also conceded a few too many chances."

Addition Dennis Dressel impressed with his calmness on the ball - but it was annoying that Daniel Maderner had to pull out of training on Monday and will not play in Tyrol.
