Yes, an Olympic road race can take a while. And as adequate hydration also plays an important role, it can happen that the bladder has a word to say. This is what happened to Nils Politt, for example, who had to take a short break in a Parisian café on Saturday.

Videos on X and Co. show the German getting back on his bike to applause after his visit to the toilet and starting his race to catch up with relief.
