At the beginning of the week, a wolf is said to have killed two goats in Mittersill. With consequences: As a result, the Salzburg province's culling order has been extended until August 24. 

Since the confirmed wolf kill in Niedersill, Salzburg's hunters have been able to hunt a wolf in the Niedernsill area. The basis for this is the state's shooting ordinance. The deadline for the ordinance has been extended due to the recent livestock kills. DNA samples were taken to confirm the wolf kills. The same wolf is also said to have struck near the provincial border on the Tyrolean side.
