This is how much Barcelona are offering for Spain’s Euro heroes

He was one of Spain's Euro 2024 heroes: Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig. FC Barcelona have been dredging up the midfielder for weeks and are now even said to have increased their offer because neo-coach Hansi Flick is desperate for the 26-year-old.

Leipzig rejected the first offer of around 40 million euros plus bonus payments without batting an eyelid. According to reports, the German Bundesliga club is only willing to discuss a transfer fee of 60 million euros or more.

According to several Spanish media reports, Barcelona have now upped the ante. "Mundo Deportivo reports an offer of around 50 million plus ten million in bonuses if the club wins the title. The newspaper "Sport" reports something similar.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano writes of a fixed transfer fee of 55 million plus four million in bonuses for "easy-to-achieve goals" - with an additional three million to be paid if "difficult-to-achieve goals" are achieved, according to Romano. According to the Italian, Olmo is pushing for a move to Barca and has accepted a six-year contract with the Catalans.

From supplementary player to European Championship hero
With three goals and two assists, the 26-year-old midfielder was one of the guarantors of Spain's European Championship title, although he had only started the tournament as a substitute. It was Pedri's injury early on in the quarter-final match against Germany (2:1 after extra time) that pushed him into the starting line-up.

Olmo was again outstanding in the final against England (2:1) and also showed his defensive skills in the final minutes when he saved a header from Declan Rice on the line for his beaten keeper Unai Simon.
