Sky du Mont has revealed that he has secured a place in a nursing home.

The 77-year-old "Der Schuh des Manitu" star, who is still fit and mobile today, is planning ahead and does not want to be a burden on his closest circle should he need help in the future.

The voice actor has now revealed that he has already secured a place in a nursing home as a precaution.

Above all, the celebrity does not want to be a burden on his immediate family and his partner Julia Schütze (48), who is almost 30 years his junior.

Du Mont told "Revue Heute" in an interview: "If I ever become needy, I won't put it on my partner."

Grave already purchased
The "(T)Starship Surprise - Period 1" actor, who is intensively involved in the last phase of his life, is open about serious life decisions and previously said that he bought himself a grave two years ago.

Sky made the decisions that came after his passing following the illness and death of his mother Chiquita Neven du Mont, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 97.

In an interview with "Gala", he previously revealed that the time following his mother's death had been quite chaotic. "My mother died almost two years ago and left behind quite a mess. We had to find a grave, choose a coffin and make a thousand decisions," said du Mont.
