Sleepwalked: Girl falls out of the window

A painful shock experience for a nine-year-old girl in the municipality of Hüttenberg in Carinthia: The girl fell out of the window of her nursery on Wednesday night. She was taken to hospital by helicopter.

Shocked, the father discovered his daughter crying in pain outside the house at around midnight - and alerted the emergency services. As it turned out, the girl had apparently been sleepwalking and had fallen out of her bedroom window as a result.

Injury to the arm
Fortunately, it was "only" from the second floor and the nine-year-old escaped with an injury to her arm. After initial treatment by the emergency doctor, the girl was flown to the hospital in Klagenfurt by the C7 rescue helicopter.
