Bicycle racks destroyed, outdoor carpeting and decorative chairs stolen - nasty crimes keep causing trouble at an ice cream parlor in Burgenland. The owner hopes that the perpetrators of the latest crime will come to their senses. 

A frosty mood prevails at the "Eisbullen" ice cream parlor in Trausdorf an der Wulka. An expensive outdoor carpet was stolen from outside the store at the beginning of July. Now ruthless hooligans have struck again. On Sunday night, when the owner, chief inspector Peter Delarich, was celebrating his 50th birthday, unknown perpetrators demolished the bicycle stand that had been set up for customers. The damage: 1000 euros.

Stanitzel stolen again and again
Time and again, uninvited "guests" visit the popular ice cream parlor outside opening hours. Several times in recent years, the one and a half meter tall and several kilogram decorative "ice cream bull" stand has disappeared - and later reappeared. This property damage was far greater.

No complaint
In the current cases, the chief inspector and teacher at the police academy in Eisenstadt hopes that the culprits will come to their senses. "Maybe the carpet will be returned," he thinks to himself. There are currently no official charges. "But if someone wilfully ruins or takes something away again, the incident will be prosecuted," announces Peter Delarich.
