At the end of the day, politicians are just people. People with a private life. While some of them are happy to share this on social media, others prefer to keep a low profile. Both have their advantages, but possibly also disadvantages. Is the private life of people in politics relevant to you? Why or why not? We look forward to hearing your views.

If politicians are open about sharing their private lives, you get to know their character away from the political stage. This can strengthen the public's trust in them. It also makes them appear more approachable and in some circumstances you can identify better with them. However, this can also lead to a distraction from political issues and their private lives being misused for political purposes or as material for scandals.
