Injured! Flick has to do without Barcelona star

Setback for Hansi Flick! The new Barcelona star has to do without Ansu Fati right at the start of the training camp. The 21-year-old whirlwind has suffered an injury to the sole of his foot!

"He will follow a conservative treatment plan in Barcelona and his return to training depends on his recovery," read a statement from FC Barcelona.

As reported by "Mundo Deportivo", Fati will therefore not be able to travel with the team to the training camp in the USA next Sunday. There, Hansi Flick's star squad will face Manchester City, Real Madrid and Milan. The league opener is on August 17 at Valencia FC.

Fati was most recently at Brighton Hove & Albion, where he scored four goals in 27 games. In the new season, he should regain his old strength at Barca.
