Car against bus in Graz: four injured

Spectacular accident in the provincial capital: on Monday evening, a car and a public bus collided in Graz-Straßgang. Four passengers crashed and had to be treated in hospital with injuries.

As reported by the police, the number 32 bus was traveling out of town along Kärntner Straße in the bus lane at around 5 pm. At the same time, a 32-year-old man was driving his car in the opposite direction. The driver of the car then wanted to turn left at the "Clocktower" restaurant, crossed the bus lane and overlooked the holding vehicle.

The collision occurred and the emergency braking resulted in four passengers on the bus sustaining minor injuries, three of whom were taken to hospital by the ambulance service.
