Car rollover ends in hospital for couple

For reasons as yet unknown, a Dutchman's car left the road in Zederhaus (Salzburg) on Friday morning. The vehicle subsequently overturned and became trapped. The driver and his partner were able to free themselves. 

At around 7:20 a.m., a Dutchman and his girlfriend were driving south on the A10 Tauernautobahn from Salzburg. Shortly after the Krottendorf service station exit in the municipality of Zederhaus, the car left the road on a left-hand bend. The vehicle overturned and became trapped between the noise barrier and the guardrail.

Witnesses helped
The couple from Benelux were able to free themselves from the car with the help of witnesses. After being treated by the emergency doctor, they were taken to Tamsweg Hospital with injuries of indeterminate severity. The Tauernautobahn was closed in the area of the accident for about an hour. A breathalyzer test carried out on the driver was negative.
