The fact that Philipp Hochmair had canceled his participation in the Salzburg Festival Artists' Festival on Sunday evening at short notice (there was also "no information" about the reason) caused a, shall we say, noble murmur in Festival society.

Instead, the title hero of "Jedermann" turned up on time for the costume rehearsal on Wednesday evening on Salzburg's Cathedral Square.
