What a lovely surprise! Emma Roberts is engaged - to her boyfriend, actor Cody John (34). The niece of Hollywood star Julia Roberts has now made this public on Instagram.

Emma Roberts made the happy news public with a selfie showing her together with her fiancé. A large engagement ring also sparkled on the ring finger of the beaming actress. 

"Before my mom tells everyone ..."
Accompanying the beautiful photo, the 33-year-old wrote: "I'm posting this before my mom tells everyone." Roberts also added a heart emoji to the message.

Emma Roberts, who was last seen snogging Kim Kardashian in "American Horror Story", has been in love with actor Cody John for two years. The film beauty recently emphasized that she no longer wanted to date actors. Luckily, her fiancé now works more behind the camera than in front of it.

Michele is already planning a Bachelorette party
Numerous congratulations quickly poured in under the post. Roberts' famous girlfriends also congratulated her on her engagement - including Ashley Tisdale and Lindsay Lohan.

And "Glee" star Lea Michele cheered: "I'm already planning the Bachelorette party!!!! I'm so happy for you, baby!"

From 2019 to 2022, Roberts was in a relationship with Hollywood star Garrett Hedlund. She has son Rhodes Robert Hedlund (3) with the 39-year-old. Roberts and Cody John sparked up a few months after they called it quits.
