Participant injured after jumping through waterfall

Right at the start, a canyoning tour in Kleinwalsertal on Saturday afternoon came to a painful end for one of the twelve participants. After jumping from a height of six meters, the man suffered injuries to both shoulders. 

At the start of the tour at Schwarzwasserbach, the participants were scheduled to jump through a waterfall. One of the men landed so awkwardly on the surface of the water that he suffered injuries to both shoulders. 

Flight to hospital
The tour quickly came to an end for the injured man. He was rescued from the canyon by the crew of the emergency helicopter "Gallus 1" using a rope and flown to hospital in Immenstadt for further treatment. The other group members, however, continued their "adventure trip".
