Electric Love as a celebrity hotspot

This year, the VIP areas will once again be the place to party the night away.

The Electric Love Festival (ELF) is definitely not short of top-class celebrities on stage. But if you look around carefully, you will also spot one or two familiar faces in the hustle and bustle away from the stages. In the past, Paris Hilton and Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose have graced the electro music festival at the Salzburgring.

Local regulars at the music event include former ski star Alexandra Meissnitzer and Laura Moisl, ex-wife of ski king Marcel Hirscher. The sports world was also strongly represented at the ELF this year. Ski jumper Stefan Kraft mingled with a few friends among the celebrating crowd on Friday. The sports director of FC Bayern Munich, Christoph Freund, was also spotted at the opening on Thursday, as was celebrity chef Roland Trettl.

In the past, not even ELF boss Manuel Reifenauer recognized some of the other guests: "A prince from Oman once wrote to us asking us to set up an extra tent for him. We thought it was a prank. It took a mutual acquaintance to tell us that the prince was desperately trying to reach us."
