Tyrolean woman causes accident due to hands-free system

Serious traffic accident on Tuesday afternoon in Söll in Tyrol! A 27-year-old woman was too busy with the hands-free system in her car and caused a rear-end collision involving a total of three vehicles. Three people were injured.

At around 4.45 pm, the local woman was driving on the B173 in the municipality of Söll in the direction of Kufstein. "The driver was busy operating the hands-free system and was briefly distracted," said the police. As a result, she was unable to stop in time and crashed into the rear of a car that had stopped in front of her for traffic reasons. This vehicle was subsequently pushed against another car.

Two cars totaled
Three people aged between 25 and 27 were seriously injured in the rear-end collision and were taken to Kufstein District Hospital by ambulance after receiving initial treatment. "Two vehicles were totaled, one vehicle was severely damaged," said the executive. There were brief traffic disruptions at the scene of the accident due to the alternating traffic routing.
