Motorcyclist (82) injured in accident with car

Serious traffic accident on Monday afternoon in Reutte in Tyrol: For unknown reasons, a motorcycle and a car collided at an intersection. The 82-year-old biker was seriously injured. 

The accident occurred at around 2 p.m. on Monday at the junction between Innsbrucker Straße and Kreckelmoosstraße. "For an as yet unknown reason, there was a collision between an 82-year-old Austrian motorcyclist and a 61-year-old Austrian car driver," according to the police.

Serious damage to property
The 82-year-old sustained serious injuries. The man was taken to the hospital in Reutte by ambulance. "The vehicles involved sustained serious material damage," the officers emphasize.
