Teenager beaten up by two men in Tyrol

Two previously unknown young men attempted to rob a 17-year-old in Oberndorf in Tyrol on Sunday night. The two men first beat him and then searched him for valuables.

The incident took place in the Bahnhofstraße in Oberndorf (Kitzbühel district) at around 2 a.m. on Sunday night. "Two men tried to rob a 17-year-old Austrian by first beating him up and then searching him for valuables," said the police.

Police are looking for witnesses
However, because the victim obviously put up a fight, the perpetrators were unable to take any items and fled. "Further investigations into the crime are ongoing", the investigators emphasize.
