Overturned tractor trapped 46-year-old man

Serious accident Saturday afternoon in Eichkögl (district of south-eastern Styria): During forestry work on Saturday afternoon, a tractor overturned and crashed onto a 46-year-old man. Helicopter operation!

The 46-year-old was carrying out forestry work in a forest. He was using a tractor with a cable winch attached. For unknown reasons, the tractor tipped onto its left side and trapped the 46-year-old between the tractor and the ground.

The man was taken to Graz Regional Hospital with serious injuries by the Christophorus 16 rescue helicopter. The Eichkögl and Studenzen fire departments were able to rescue the tractor from the site.
