Bitter! Patrick Wimmer will miss us in the round of 16

Two yellows is one too many ... After Patrick Wimmer had to accept his second card of the tournament in the European Championship group game against the Netherlands, he is now condemned to watch on in the round of 16.

On Friday, the Wolfsburg international brought down Poland's Zalewski and was shown a yellow card in the 56th minute. Four days later, same time, same place: Wimmer kicks Holland's Geertruida, probably unintentionally, and again the referee reaches into his breast pocket.

For the ÖFB midfielder, the yellow card goes hand in hand with a place on the bench and he will not be available to Ralf Rangnick in the round of 16.
