Schladming brings three world stars to the region!

Big media splash in Schladming: the three superstars of the Ski Opening Schladming-Dachstein 2024 were presented on Monday afternoon. Simply Red, Bryan Adams and Sting are set to attract tens of thousands of visitors to Styria.

After Robbie Williams last year, three superstars are coming to the ski opening in Ennstal this year (6 to 8 December). Bryan Adams, Sting and Simply Red are heading for Styria! The season opening of the four-mountain ski area - Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm - has already been confirmed as this year's absolute white and green concert highlight.

Via helicopter to the presentation
Just as it should be for real pop stars, the trio was flown in by helicopter yesterday afternoon for the presentation on the Schnepf'n Alm, with a magnificent view of the majestic Dachstein. "I'm looking forward to a great concert, Tafelspitz and Grüner Veltliner," smiled Mick Hucknall. By December at the latest, he will probably realize that a Styrian Sauvignon or Gelber Muskateller has also long been among the world's top wines.

The three gentlemen no longer need to prove to anyone that they themselves have been among the world's elite in the music business for decades. Together, they have sold more than 300 million records, with Grammys and other awards piling up on their shelves. "I'll be playing all the songs that people know, plus a few new things that I hope you'll like too," says Bryan Adams, giving a little foretaste of his Schladming appearance. The Canadian's only fear is the cold on stage, but a loden blanket that the tourist board gave to the three musicians could help.

"This is what people want to hear"
Sting also has all the evergreens in his luggage. "That's why I'm only going to play my hits, that's what people want to hear - and the three of us have had one or two successful numbers." Incidentally, the three musicians are good friends and also want to go skiing in December. "I'm English, but I can ski well. However, I'm going to go slowly so that I can enjoy this beautiful area," smiles Sting.

The guest appearance was once again made possible by Styrian concert maestro Klaus Leutgeb: "It couldn't be more special than these three world stars coming to the press conference together."

Under the title "The Grand Festival 2024", tens of thousands of visitors are once again expected for the Schladming-Dachstein Ski Opening - 25,000 last winter. The event is organized by the Schladming-Dachstein tourism region and international concert promoter Klaus Leutgeb.
