“Everyone pushed even harder against us”

Always in the lead from round two onwards, wintering with a six-point advantage and then completing the masterpiece with a 6:1 home win against Radstadt in the penultimate round: Bruck's title in the 1st division South is quite something!

Especially as the Pinzgauers - like Mittersill and Mühlbach/Hk. - followed in Leverkusen's footsteps, finishing unbeaten in Salzburg's lower division.

 "Which wasn't so easy. Everyone pushed even harder against us and wanted to be the first to beat us," said goalkeeper Manuel Seiwald, who despite the four draws in the spring (there were six in total) also claimed the traditional "crown" of invincible (14 goals).

"It was very important that we survived another season without any major injuries," says club official Daniel Lager. As was the good work of coach Uwe Deussen. "In the previous year, we were still fighting against relegation, but in the second season many club ideas were implemented."

The club relies on local players anyway and places great emphasis on club life. Motto: "Football without money, but with lots of fun." And all this in one big family. Which is also firmly represented at the village festival or the "Brucka Bergtoifen", a Krampus pass.

During the recent short trip to Malle, one topic was: What can Bruck expect (bringing in Dustin Hutter and Bastian Lager) in the 2nd Landesliga Süd? "Games like against Lenzing and Zell - just every weekend," predicts Seiwald.
