Truck driver crashes head-on into concrete bollard in Tyrol

A serious traffic accident early on Friday afternoon in Wörgl in Tyrol: a Bulgarian man (53) crashed his truck into a concrete bollard at a company. The man was injured. 

At around 1.15 p.m., the truck driver wanted to drive out of a company premises in the industrial park in Wörgl with his truck and trailer. However, for reasons as yet unknown, the 53-year-old crashed head-on into a concrete bollard.

Taken to hospital with injuries
The Bulgarian was seriously injured and was rescued by the fire department after receiving initial treatment from the emergency doctor and paramedics in the driver's cab. "The man was then taken to Kufstein Hospital by ambulance", according to the police.
