Just months after actor Heinz Hoenig made headlines with his appeal for donations for a life-saving operation, the next celebrity has turned to his fans. German comedian Markus Majowski asked his fans for financial support after suffering two serious injuries.

"I had two pretty scary stage accidents," the 60-year-old wrote on a donation platform. "At first, I couldn't really take the damage to my knee seriously. The work had to go on. And then I had another fall on stage in the spring. And now I have a new knee joint."

23,000 donation target
As a result, he was missing two major professional projects in summer 2024, Majowski continued. "I had to cancel them. I'm still in rehabilitation after the knee operation. Your support to make ends meet is a real gift." Majowski, who also took part in the RTL jungle camp in 2017, has set a donation target of 23,000 euros.

Heinz Hoenig needed money for vital operations
Actor Heinz Hoenig, who underwent surgery a few weeks ago, also needed a considerable amount of money for life-saving operations on his oesophagus and aorta. After initially calling for a donation target of 90,000 euros, this was significantly increased to 500,000 euros.

"The necessary measures have already pushed us to the limit of our financial resources," said the appeal for donations, which was initiated by a company close to music producer Ralf Siegel. Siegel himself and actor Til Schweiger have reportedly donated for the popular actor.
