Trapped: 18-year-old found dead behind car

Terrible accident on Tuesday in Vienna-Favoriten! An 18-year-old boy was run over by a truck. The victim was found trapped and lifeless in the area of the rear wheels. The driver of the truck was reported to the police. 

The incident took place around 3.30 p.m. in the area of Laxenburger Straße. The driver is said to have parked in the vicinity of a supermarket to do some shopping.

When he returned from his shopping, he was in for a big shock: behind his truck, he found a person trapped and lifeless in the area of the rear wheels. The victim was a young man only 18 years old. He could only be pronounced dead. 

"Emergency services from the Vienna Fire Brigade rescued the person. The traffic accident command has taken over the investigation", reports police spokesman Mattias Schuster. The driver of the truck was reported to the police. He has not yet been questioned. Exactly how the accident occurred is still under investigation.
