The absolute fan madness in Düsseldorf is reaching its peak! Before Austria's European Championship opener against France(9 pm/live in the sportkrone.at ticker), everyone is looking forward to a real soccer festival and hoping for the big sensation. In the video above you can see the Austrian fans marching towards the stadium.

"Again and again, again and again, again and again Austria!" And: "Owa eine werd ma's hau'n!" The match between Austria and France kicks off at 9 p.m. and numerous ÖFB fans are already gathering in the city center. Düsseldorf in red-white-red! The national anthem has already been played:

The ÖFB team will be supported by around 20,000 fans in the 46,200-capacity arena this evening.

Soccer fans stranded in Passau
Hopefully those Austrians who were stuck in Passau for three hours on their way to Düsseldorf will also be there. The reason: there was only one bus to replace three trains.
