Cannabis plants discovered during police operation

The police were originally called to Wolfsberg in Carinthia late on Saturday evening to deal with a reported noise disturbance, but in the process they came across a cannabis grow in an apartment.

The police were alerted at around 10.20 p.m. on Saturday because there had been a noise disturbance in an apartment in Wolfsberg. When the officers arrived at the 23-year-old's apartment, they noticed several cannabis plants inside from the entrance area. "The woman then became agitated and began to justify herself," said the police. 

A search was carried out by the criminal investigation department, during which a total of 18 unharvested cannabis plants in the growing stage, several narcotics paraphernalia and dried mushrooms were seized. The investigation is ongoing and the Wolfsberg woman will be charged.
