Coach quake in Dortmund! Terzic apparently facing the end

There has been a real bang in Dortmund. As the club and Edin Terzic confirmed on Thursday, it has been agreed that Terzic will no longer be BVB coach next season. Nuri Sahin will take over for him, with Sven Bender acting as assistant coach. 

The BVB management met on Thursday to discuss the coming season. According to "Bild", the decision to part ways with Terzic was made quite quickly. According to Sky, the coach is said to have offered his resignation on Wednesday. Those responsible have accepted the offer.

Borussia have probably already found a successor. Nuri Sahin is to become the new head coach, with Sven Bender at his side as assistant coach. 

Will Hummels stay?
Terzic often came under fire during the course of the season after his relationship with some players became strained and successes failed to materialize at times. However, BVB surprisingly made it to the Champions League final. 

As a result of Terzic's departure, an extension for veteran Mats Hummels also seems possible again. The defender had probably tied his stay to the condition that he would no longer have to work with Terzic.
