Spanx crisis forces singer to buy hamster!

Adele's beloved shapewear brand has ceased production of her favorite product. And the otherwise cool and confident singer promptly panicked.

The 36-year-old singer has been wearing the same shapewear underpants for many years to shape her figure for public appearances. When her favorite brand announced that production of this particular Spanx variant was to be discontinued, it was like the announcement of the apocalypse for Adele.

She therefore went on a panicked shopping spree to get hold of as many of her favorites as quickly as possible.

Dents and upholstery well accommodated
During a performance as part of her Las Vegas residency, the pop icon lamented her woes to the audience, according to Daily Mail reports: "Spanx. I rely on it. I've been wearing them since I was 16, so I trust them. Half my life. I trust them with my life," she confessed.

"My favorite version is the full-body Spanx. I know they're not sexy. But I want to feel confident in my clothes. I know that my beloved pads and dents are well accommodated. Well, they've now decided to discontinue my favorite Spanx," she whined, explaining, "That's why we're all panicking right now, trying to buy up everything that's still available in the stores."

Was the campaign successful? Not quite, because what ended up in Adele's wardrobe so far was "definitely not big, but rather too small". "It was like squeezing a sausage into the skin. It was so stressful," Adele told her audience with amusement.
