Wanted a chilled beer: man falls into the water

A 52-year-old Austrian man fell into the water near the Tiflis Bridge in Innsbruck, at the confluence of the Inn and Sill rivers, on Saturday afternoon and had to be rescued.

The man had wanted to get some chilled beer from the water when the accident occurred for unknown reasons. A witness informed two passers-by who pulled the 52-year-old out.

He received first aid on the spot. The man was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
