Crook took several thousand euros from Tyrolean woman

A woman (55) from Seefeld fell victim to a fraudster on social media. The stranger pretended to be a doctor who was in an emergency. The Tyrolean woman then transferred several thousand euros.

The unknown perpetrator had contacted the 55-year-old via a social media platform. After some time, he asked for her help and claimed to be a doctor and to be in an emergency situation in Yemen. He had to buy his freedom there.

Thousands of euros transferred
The woman fell for the scammer's game and transferred several thousand euros. In a further conversation in the chat, the woman was advised to make another transfer. There she also transferred several thousand euros.
