Ambulance crashed into car dealer’s car

Three Red Cross employees were injured in an accident on Liebenauer Hauptstraße in Graz on Friday morning. Their vehicle skidded, overturned and collided with cars belonging to a car dealer.

At around 8.30 a.m. on Friday, the vehicle in which the driver and two paramedics were sitting was probably on its way to an operation. However, the ambulance skidded in Liebenauer Hauptstraße. According to the police, it hit the sidewalk, overturned and then crashed into a dealer's display cars, a lamppost and two trees. 

The driver (59) was seriously injured in the accident, while the two other passengers (both 19) suffered minor injuries.

The Liebenauer Hauptstraße had to be closed to all traffic for one and a half hours so that the vehicle could be removed.
