Police looking for witnesses

Unknown person scratched car from top to bottom

A driver in East Tyrol is probably in deep trouble: On Tuesday night, unknown persons scratched his car parked in J.-A.-Rohracher-Straße. The damage runs into the thousands. The police are asking witnesses for information. 

According to the police, the unknown perpetrator(s) struck between 8 p.m. on Monday evening and 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. They used a sharp object to attack the car parked in J.-A.-Rohracher-Straße. In particular, the driver's side, rear, hood and roof of the car were badly damaged by the vandals. 

According to the police, the resulting damage is in the four-digit euro range. Investigators are now appealing for information that could help to solve the crime. Witnesses are asked to contact the Lienz police station on 059133 7230.
