Worker fell into the depths – seriously injured

A 31-year-old worker was seriously injured on a construction site in Kitzbühel, Tyrol, on Monday morning. The man fell around three meters from a ladder. 

Shortly after 11 a.m., the 31-year-old local man was working on a terrace in Kitzbühel doing tinsmithing work at a height of around three meters, for which he was standing on a ladder. For reasons as yet unexplained, the ladder suddenly tipped over, causing the 31-year-old to fall to the ground. 

A colleague of the local man rushed to his aid and made an emergency call. After first aid by the ambulance, the emergency services took him to the district hospital in St. Johann in Tirol with a serious foot injury.
