Flachgauer (77) burnt himself in an accident at work

A serious accident at work occurred today, Monday, in Bürmoos. A 77-year-old man burned his upper body. He had previously been working with paint, a spark ignited the flames.

A 77-year-old man suffered severe burns in a work accident in his workshop in Bürmoos on Monday morning. Paint may have got onto his clothing while he was working. When sparks flew during sanding with a cut-off sander, the garment caught fire in the area of the upper body.

The man suffered severe burns as a result. After receiving emergency medical assistance, he was flown to hospital by rescue helicopter, according to the provincial police headquarters.
