Farmer crashed while turning around with his mule

On Tuesday evening, a mountain farmer in Bramberg (Pinzgau) was still working in the fields. During a turning maneuver, an accident occurred and he crashed with his mule. 

The 64-year-old farmer was working in a field with his mule at around 7 pm. Probably during a reversal maneuver, he crashed his vehicle down a steep and impassable slope about 100 meters. The mule overturned and the Pinzgauer was trapped in the driver's cab.

The Bramberg fire department was able to rescue the man. After initial treatment by the emergency doctor, the farmer was flown by rescue helicopter to the Kardinal Schwarzenberg Hospital in Schwarzach with injuries of indeterminate severity.
