Thieves caught with a van full of electric bikes

A burglar duo was caught by the police in Elsbethen: Six stolen e-bikes were seized in a van. A GPS tracker had put the officers on the right track. 

Between May 4 and 11, a total of six high-quality electric bikes disappeared in Elsbethen. Some of the bikes were secured in cellar compartments or on bike racks. The unknown perpetrators had forced their way in or broken the locks.

GPS tracker led to duo
One of the victims, who had a GPS tracker attached to both of his bikes, put the police on the right track. The officers were able to track down a 43-year-old Russian and a 51-year-old accomplice from Lithuania.

They had apparently driven everywhere in their van and quickly loaded the loot. The duo was arrested and reported to the public prosecutor's office.
