Cyclist had to be resuscitated after a fall
On Thursday, a cyclist fell in Aschbach-Markt in the district of Amstetten and had to be resuscitated. The identity of the man was initially unclear.
The fall occurred on the L6220 in Aschbach-Markt in the district of Amstetten between 3 p.m. and 3.50 p.m. on the public holiday. The cyclist then lay motionless. He was successfully resuscitated and was transported to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz with serious injuries.
Identity clarified
Because the biker had no identification documents with him, the identity of the man could not initially be clarified. The police asked for information in a press release on Friday. The Lower Austria Provincial Police Directorate has now announced that the man is a 72-year-old Ukrainian citizen who lives in the Amstetten district.
