A mother had almost 1.7 per mille alcohol in her blood when she was driving her car in the Neukirchen district of Aigen at around 4 a.m. on Thursday. The car left the road, hit several trees and came to rest on its roof.

The 40-year-old from the district of Schärding was heavily intoxicated with 1.68 per mille when she left the road in Neukirchen/Walde at around 4 am.

Particularly tragic: her 7-year-old son, her 10-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old girl were also in the car.

Army of guardian angels
The occupants of the car were extremely lucky, as a whole army of guardian angels must have been on the road that night in the Hausruckviertel. Miraculously, they all escaped with a scare and were able to free themselves from the wreck.
