Keith Urban “still wants to impress” Kidman

They have been married for 18 years and yet singer Keith Urban (56) still wants to impress his wife, Nicole Kidman (56): namely when she attends his shows.

If you see Nicole Kidman at a Keith Urban concert, you know that he will go one better and put on a perfect performance! "It inspires me," Urban told People. "I'm trying to impress them." His late dad Bob Urban is also still very close to him.

"I feel like I'm still trying to make my dad proud, and I think my dad was proud years ago," the 56-year-old said. "My father is no longer alive and I still feel like I'm trying to get his appreciation."

Keith Urban is Kidman's "great love"
Nicole Kidman is also still deeply in love with her Keith. "I'm so happy that I have Keith, who is my great love. My deep, deep love," Kidman recently gushed to "People", giving a rare insight into her family life. 

The singer gives her "the opportunity to go and do whatever I need to do because I know where I can always come back to," Kidman said. Someone once asked her what she does to pass the time and she simply replied: "Well, first and foremost I have my family, I raise my kids and I work." Urban and Kidman met 19 years ago.

Nicole Kidman is also doing very well professionally. At a gala event in Hollywood at the end of April, the Oscar winner was honored with the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award. Stars such as Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman and Reese Witherspoon were delighted for the likeable actress.
