Police catch drug drivers, narcotics in the car
During a vehicle check at the Musau checkpoint in the Tyrolean Außerfern region, two Romanians were caught by officers on Monday. While the driver (40) was driving impaired, his co-driver (33) had narcotics in his jacket. They will be charged.
The two men wanted to pass the Musau checkpoint at around 10.20 pm. Officers from the Bichlbach and Reutte police stations carried out vehicle checks there and stopped the two men. The police officers noticed symptoms of drug impairment in the 40-year-old Romanian driver.
The man's driver's license was confiscated on the spot.

"The police doctor subsequently determined that he was unfit to drive and was impaired by narcotics. The man's driver's license was confiscated on the spot," said the police.
Drugs in the car and on the passenger
Almost 15 grams of cannabis resin and a small amount of cocaine, ecstasy and herbal cannabis were found and seized in the jacket of his passenger, a 33-year-old Romanian, and in the car. The two Romanians were released.
