A horse died

Runaway horses wandered through Adnet in the night

Seven horses escaped from a pasture in Adnet at three o'clock in the night. They then galloped onto the Wiestal Landesstraße, where they caused a police operation. One of the horses died.

A police patrol was able to drive six horses to a meadow next to the road and provisionally fence them in with police tape.

The seventh horse had already been so badly injured during the escape that it had to be euthanized by a vet. It had probably slipped on the road beforehand. 

The owner of the horse could be traced. He was able to pick up the six uninjured horses with a transporter and bring them back.
