Politicians as the target of violent attacks

Violent attacks and assaults on politicians have been on the increase recently. For example, both the Saxon MEP Matthias Ecke (SPD) and the Constitutional Minister Karoline Edtstadler (ÖVP) were recently targeted. In the "Krone" community, this behavior is sharply criticized, as our two comments of the day put it in a nutshell.
