Heidi Klum confirmed her name change

Heidi Klum has dropped her famous name. The model confirmed this in a Q&A session on Instagram. 

US media reported back in 2019 that Heidi Klum had already applied to the Los Angeles Superior Court to change her name. Now, however, the top model has provided official proof for the first time in a Q&A session in her Instagram story, which has since gone offline again.

Klum is actually called Kaulitz
One fan simply asked: "What name is on your ID card?" The 50-year-old then pulled out the card and held it up to the camera. It shows her new surname. And it's Kaulitz.

So Heidi actually dropped her famous surname after her wedding to Tom Kaulitz, even though she still appears in public as Klum.

Married since 2019
Klum and Kaulitz first appeared as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. They tied the knot in August 2019, just a few months after the Tokio Hotel frontman asked the 'Germany's Next Top Model' presenter to marry him.
