Austrian Simon Morzé wins German Film Award
Austrian actor Simon Morzé has won the German Film Award for Best Male Actor in a Leading Role. He received the award on Friday evening in Berlin for his role in the historical film "The Fox".
In the film, he plays an Austrian soldier named Franz who raises a young fox during the Second World War. He has already won the Bavarian Film Award's Young Actor Award and the German Film Award for his performance and was also nominated for the Austrian Film Award 2023 for Best Male Actor.
Since 2009, Morzé has appeared as Jan Schnell, the son of Inspector Angelika Schnell, in the ORF television series "Schnell ermittelt".
Neuhauser honored for best supporting role
Adele Neuhauser, an Austrian, was named best supporting actress for her role in the film "15 Years" - a German-Austrian-Luxembourgish drama by director Chris Kraus.
